Erm, yeah.

Monday, December 18

cheesey:
Sorry for downtime, folks. I was testing modifications to the rc.local file on here while I am actually physically present.

cheesey:
Toby phone home!

What time are you appearing for el food?

Toby:
Y'know, the slightly effeminate purple and light grey is beginning to grow on me. It only really looks its best on a non-gamma-corrected monitor (manufacturer's default day-glo colour settings with slightly too much red), but I suspect that'll be the case with most casual readers anyway.

Hunter:
Well, its very simple looking now. though the purple doesn't fit the top image.

Also could someone update my link to point to huntershome.co.uk please?

cheesey:
'lilac and burnt orange' sounds like either a type of incense or a prog-rock group

Toby:
I'd agree with Mr. Porter's sentiment. Maybe you could run with the cloud colours and see what can be done with lilac and burnt orange? Just a suggestion.

Friday, December 15

Mark Porter:
looks a bit pale/washed out...

jimmy:
I hope you like purple.

Wednesday, December 13

Toby:
I'm not convinced, but I'm sure the logo will grow on me eventually. One thing is certain though - that cloud background has too much of a saturation and contrast gradient across it. May I suggest saturating and false-colouring the top right corner a smidgen. Also, with those colour clouds, the dusky purple has got to go. Probably the light green also.

Get editing - it looks like a dog's breakfast ATM!

Tuesday, December 12

jimmy:
New logo and etc. The rest of the page could do with a spring clean, especially as we have clashing primary colours ATM. If anyone wants to suggest any pictures, there's room with that logo to have several different colour background images and rotate them?

Sunday, December 10

jimmy:
There is now a table booked for five on the 18th at 8pm at R2.

Right, that's enough making sense for this week

BISCOTTI

jimmy:
I'm reliably told that Rob's flat is going to be pretty cramped anyway with eight of us going already

Linda: Plan for BW on the 18th was to go to R2 again if I can get a table for us. I'm going to phone them in a few hours once Rob has woken up and replied. It's got quite late though so I'm not sure if we'll get a table this close to Christmas, if we can't we can all come round mine or something?

Lidna:
Rob: If you mean Maidenhead then probably not i'm afraid. I'll be out fairly late on the 19th and I'm having a tooth out on the 21st so it's likely to be a little to rushed if I try :/

jimmy:
Rob - given the hours you are working at the moment, are *you* still able to come to both?

cheesey:
are you able to appear at mine on the 20th?

That was almost coherent... let's change that, squawk SQUAWK

Monday, December 4

Lidna:
hello, just thought i'd better let everyone know i'm still alive :P
Jimmy: 19th is my Dad's birthday but I should be free on the 18th :)

Sunday, December 3

cheesey:
On my way here I caught my exhausted reflection's eye as he sat in the darkened train window opposite.

We looked a bit like Charles I, he and I, with curly brown hair flowing down; though we were taller than he was, by about a head.

Extremely useful instructions I hope I never need
