My fetish for lettuce, now growing obscene, ...

Oooh, alliteration no less. Bedtime, methinks, before I get a nasty attack of comma-itis and accidentally punctuate myself to death.

The new Helpdesk dude seems OK. He needs to be gently delegated to over the next few days, I do feel.

SQQQQUUUUENNNNKKK RAAAAARRRRRIING?...

Last month was a bit hectic here too, yes - was Disserted and then moved back to parents

Toby:
...the sound in the distance of elephants squealing...

*raises hand*

It has been a month of three extremes:

  1. Extreme boredom due to nothing happening, the labs being dead, and the ensuing apathy this inspires in me,

  2. Extreme stress due to the realization that I haven't done any of the long list of items on the whiteboard,

  3. Extremely frantic scrabbling around in server rooms, cussing, 'coz two or more of the infrastructure machines have decided to die all at once.

Rinse, repeat.

Note that due to sod's law, there is no opportunity between 2 and 3 for me to realize that 1 was a bad idea and that I should rectify 2.

Still, hopefully the new guy will be starting on Monday, so I can let him get bored while I actually fix stuff. Or not :P

cheesey:
Letters and newspapers stuck to the ceiling...

so who else here has had a horribly long and confusing month?

(angus descends)
